Preparing for your trip:

You should wear weather-appropriate clothing for the duration of the trip. Even though summers are warm, winds on the water can feel chilly. Furthermore, the weather can suddenly change on the lake. For this reason, we recommend that you bring wind and water-resistant clothing. Additionally, you are welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks.

Our fishing trips remain substance-free. However, we can agree on drinks with meals separately.

Fisheries management fee: You must pay the state fisheries management fee before the fishing begins. You can find the link for the national license below.

Age limit:

Our fishing trips are suitable for anglers of all ages and skill levels, though personal discretion is advised. Trips can be tailored to meet the specific needs of each group. Please note that fishing can require patience and persistence.

Accessibility:

Unfortunately, I am unable to provide barrier-free access to the boat, but assistance is available for boarding if needed.

Responsibility:

SouthEast Fishing Finland strictly follows the principles of sustainable and responsible fishing. We handle every catch with respect and follow all legal requirements. We keep the fish for food in a live well. Consequently, we dispatch them properly to ensure quality and freshness. Furthermore, we practice moderate harvesting. We only select medium-sized fish for the table. In contrast, we release large individuals so they can continue spawning. This practice safeguards healthy fish stocks for the future. We do not fish for perch or zander at depths greater than 10 meters unless we intend to keep them for food. Moreover, we avoid fishing for large pike and zander if the water temperature rises above 20°C. We always release endangered species immediately. Our guide strictly observes statutory minimum size limits and provides detailed instructions on fish handling during the trip.

Catch quotas:

Zander: 2 pcs/person, 42 cm – 60 cm

Pike: 2 pcs/person, 60 cm – 80 cm

Perch: 5 pcs/person, under 37 cm

Cancellation policy and safety

We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to dangerous weather conditions. Our priority is to reschedule the event, but the payment will be refunded in full if a new date cannot be agreed upon and the scheduled trip has not yet begun. If a trip that has already started must be interrupted due to dangerous weather, the price will be negotiated separately. Before every fishing trip, the fishing guide assesses the weather conditions and decides whether the event can be conducted safely.
